General Questions

How can I get a quote?

Simply click get a quote at the top of our site and fill in the info, we aim to get back to customers the same day with a quote.

What is a first clean?

When we’re asked to come out for the first time we set very high standards for our operators, we ensure that they have an eye for detail and leave no marks on your windows.

We start our cleaning process with de-cob webbing all your windows, frames doors, then we Scrub all the window, frames, doors and sills to clean off any dirt and marks, following this we rinse all the frames and windows to remove any dirty water.

Finally, after this first cleaning process, we start again with a second clean to ensure that your windows are extreamly clean.

We use pure water-fed poles to do our cleaning.

It is rare that you will get spots but we always warn of possible spots on the first clean this can happen due to the amount of dirt we wash off the frames it is rare but can happen!

How can I pay?

BANK: You can send money directly to our bank account via your online banking app (Our bank info is on the token we post after every clean).

CASH: If you are home at the time of the clean and wish to pay with cash that is fine a receipt will be given at request.

GO CARDLESS: This is the best payment method and is all done automatically no need to worry about forgetting to pay and it saves both you and us time! go cardless is like a direct debit so every-time we do a clean we click job done and within 3 – 5 days the money will be sent to us from your bank automatically. With go cardless, you are also protected by the direct debit guarantee and for any reason, we don’t clean your windows no money is taken!

Cleaning Questions

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A STANDARD CLEANING?

We clean your windows, frames, sills, and doors on every visit as standard, if for some reason you don’t want us to clean the doors please let us know!

WHAT IS PURE WATER?

The term Pure Water in window cleaning describes ordinary tap water that has been filtered through a purifying filter system. This removes natural minerals from the water including Calcium which is the main cause of white spots on the window when they dry.

Meaning the windows can then be left to dry naturally, with a perfect, crystal clear finish.

Pure water is made by water being purified through a Reverse Osmosis (RO) System or DI Vessel (De-Ionisation) or a system that combines the two technologies in a single set up.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We offer a range of services that include Window Cleaning, Solar Panel Cleaning, Gutter Clearing/Cleaning, Cladding Cleaning, Fascias & Soffits Cleaning, Conservatory Roof Cleaning and Garage Doors Cleaning.

Our working height is 30ft.

HOW MANY CLEANERS DO YOU SEND?

We work in teams of two, this helps keep standards high and promotes good health and safety.

ARE Hunters employees DBS checked?

Absolutely, everyone who works for us is DBS checked.

Scheduling Questions

CAN I GET A SAME-DAY BOOKING?

we don’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day, we can often meet this requirement if we are in the area!

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR MY CLEANING?

You don’t need to be home, but please make sure you let us know how to access the rear of your property for example side gate has a bolt.

We will always leave your property how we found it and close/lock all gates behind us!

Will my windows be cleaned on the set date?

Yes, most of the time we aim to stick to the dates set sometimes we may change a date to fit in with our route or due to bad weather but you will always be notified about this via text or email.

WHEN AM I CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?

You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. We always post a card after each clean with our bank info on it but if you are a GoCardless customer, no worries its all done for you and money is taken within 3 – 5 days after the clean.

ARE THERE ANY COMMITMENTS OF CONTRACTS?

No, you can cancel the service anytime without any penalties. You don’t have to commit to any contracts.
